Five people have put their name forward to be part of council in Fort Providence.
The hamlet is holding a by-election for a single councillor position for a one-year term.
The candidates are:
- Rosemary Bonnetrouge
- Victor Constant
- Shirley Gargan
- Bernadette Landry
- Robert Tanche
If any residents believe one of these candidates should not be allowed to run, they can contact the returning officer, Phoebe Parent by Thursday.
The by-election will be held on Feb. 28.
