Hay River RCMP says a suspicious death that happened in the community last weekend was actually a homicide.
Police now say the suspect has been arrested in Alberta.
Riley Jordan Moyah, 23, will return to the NWT to begin the court process this week.
On Sunday Jan. 16, officers responded to a call about 9 a.m. on Lagood Road where they found the body of a 24-year-old man.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
