A rise in COVID cases in Behchokǫ̀ is being reported a day after restrictions were extended.
Five new cases were reported in the community, raising the number of active cases to 49.
The restrictions will be in place until 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 8.
Hay River and K’atl’odeeche First Nation are reporting one new COVID case in the past 24 hours.
There are now 64 active cases in those communities.
Trick or treating is not being permitted in K’atl’odeeche First Nation and Behchokǫ̀ as both are under a containment order. However trick or treating will be going forward in Hay River.
More recoveries were reported in Dettah, Ndilǫ and Yellowknife and there are now 63 active cases.
There was no change in Łutsel Kʼe which is at three active cases and Inuvik at seven active cases.
