CPHO reporting 37 new cases of COVID, more recoveries

Another 37 cases of COVID-19 were reported in the territory on Friday, including a new case in Fort Simpson.

There are now 254 active cases of COVID-19 in Northwest Territories residents and three in out-of-territory residents.

There are 160 active cases in Yellowknife, Dettah and Ndilǫ, and 59 active cases in Behchokǫ̀.

Additionally there are 18 cases in Whatì, 10 in Hay River three in Délı̨nę.

While Fort Good Hope, Norman Wells, Fort Simpson and Łutselkʼe each have one active case.

A press release says 30 residents have been hospitalized and 12 have been admitted to the ICU since the start of the pandemic.
