Inuvik RCMP has reported a sudden death in the community.
A 47-year-old woman was found unresponsive and medevac to Yellowknife around 6:40 p.m. on Saturday, May 22.
The woman died on May 23.
NT RCMP Major Crimes Unit and the office of the chief coroner have begun an investigation and a post – mortem examination has been ordered.
