The Department of Environment and Natural Resources is asking for people to come forward with information about a vehicle hitting two bison over the weekend.

In a Facebook post, the department says the collision happened on Sunday, April 5, about one and a half kilometres passed the turn-off for the Tlicho All-Season Road on Highway 3.

Parts of both bison were illegally harvested following the collision.

ENR says officers found grey-green vehicle debris at the scene and parts of a turn signal.

Anyone with information can contact the department at the “Report a Poacher” line 1-866-762-2437.
