Members of the Northwest Territories Legislative Assembly from across the NWT are descending on Yellowknife if they aren’t already in the capital.

The third session of the 18th assembly reconvenes on Tuesday afternoon.

The sitting begins at 1:30pm and the public is obviously invited.

Among many issues, regular MLAs are expected to grill the government on the cost and benefits of sending a delegation from cabinet and the government to Vancouver for the recently completed mining ‘Roundup’ conference.

If you can’t make it to the Leg, you can listen to the rebroadcast on CKLB 101.9 FM beginning at 7:30pm.

CKLB will be rebroadcasting the sittings for the next six weeks until the current session is over on March 14th.

There will be two other sitting before the fall election – one in late May into early June, the other in August.

The NWT territorial election will be held October 1st.
