Edwin Erutse has been re-elected as President of the Yamoga Land Corporation in Fort Good Hope.

The race initially started with three candidates. Ronald Peirrot withdrew leaving Erustse and Brenda T’seleie to vie for the presidency.

Erutse was re-elected to his position with 208 votes, compared to T’seleie’s 73 votes.

Rose McNeely, Returning Officer for the Fort Good Hope Land Corporation says six members were also elected to the Yamoga Land Corporation Board of Directors.

McNeely says now that the elections are over, the President and Board Members took an oath on Thursday for their positions at the Annual General Meeting in Fort Good Hope.

McNeely says the AGM will provide an opportunity for any recommendations or findings about the election to be discussed.
