Fort Good Hope RCMP Investigate Assault At Residence

48-year-old Christopher Shae has been arrested and charged following an assault that took place at a residence in Fort Good Hope.

A press release issued by the Mounties says a woman and a male were found injured outside of their residence on Saturday, September 15th.

Both individuals were medi-vaced to Yellowknife with serious injuries and have since been sent to Edmonton for further treatment.

Mounties have charged Shae with:

3 counts, assault with weapon
2 counts, aggravated assault
1 count, carry weapon for dangerous purpose
1 count, fail to comply with probation

Through their investigation Mounties discovered two that skidoos that had been set ablaze and two axes located in the yard beside the residence.
