Aklavik Man Arrested for Incident on Flight

A 26 old man from Aklavik has been arrested after RCMP were called to the Yellowknife Airport.

The man was said to be causing problems on a Sunday afternoon flight from Inuvik to Yellowknife, allegedly stealing cash from the in-flight purchase cart.

The passenger was taken in custody by the RCMP once the plane landed.

The accused has been identified as Travis Capot-Blanc. He is facing two charges: one count of theft under $5000 and one count of failure to comply with an undertaking.

He will appear in court again on April 24th.
