The Edmonton Police Service have made the third and final arrest in the murder investigation of Feysal Farrah, whose body was found in a Yellowknife apartment building in August of 2022.

In May, charges of manslaughter with a firearm were laid against all three suspects. Two of the suspects, 24-year-old Salim Shekh of Edmonton, and 34-year-old Synthea Hope of Fort Simpson, were arrested earlier this month, with Shekh being arrested in Edmonton, and Hope arrested in the NWT.

The final suspect is a 20-year-old male, and was arrested on Sunday, June 22nd by Edmonton officers. This man has already been presented before a Justice of the Peace, and will be returned to the NWT in the coming days.

This suspect cannot be named, as they are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice act, and was a youth at the time of the offence.

The Northwest Territories RCMP have expressed a message of thanks to the Edmonton Police Service for their help in this matter.
