Youth facing murder charge related to March Fort Smith shooting

A 17-year-old is facing a murder charge related to a shooting that happened in early March in Fort Smith.

Following the shooting on March 4, it took police two days to find and arrest the alleged shooter.

On March 8, police charged the individual related to two break and enters, but said firearms that were allegedly stolen had still not been found.

It’s not clear whether the firearms have been recovered.
