3 men charged with drug and firearm possessions in Yellowknife

According to police, three men have been charged with numerous counts of drug and firearm possessions in Yellowknife.

The incident occurred on Oct. 25 after police conducted a traffic stop which led to a “drug-related investigation.”

Police found what they believe to be crack and powder cocaine, a loaded firearm, cash and other unnamed evidence.

Fathi Maie, Abdullah Maye and Dawson Tecomba have since been charged with several crimes. The woman that was with them however was released, although she may be charged with similar crimes later.

Her connection to the crimes aforementioned is still unknown at this time.

The three men all have addresses leading to Alberta, reads a police report.
