K’atl’odeeche First Nation declares state of emergency

Following an exposure to COVID-19 in the community, K’atl’odeeche leadership say a state of emergency has been declared.

Leaders are calling on members to self-monitor for the next 10 days for symptoms if fully vaccinated, and isolate for 10 days if not fully vaccinated.

According to a social media post by the community, public health is sending a team to do testing.

It’s also reminding members to wear a mask, maintain social distancing and no visitation.
