Nuisance black bear breaks into cabins on River Lake

According to the Department of Environment and Natural resources, a black bear has been spotted breaking into cabins on River Lake, in the past few days.

River Lake can be found between Prosperous and Prelude Lakes.

ENR officers are still patrolling the area and have yet to find the bear.

“Cabin owners must use extreme caution,” reads a notice.

Cabin owners in the area who have seen a bear are asked to call 867-873-7181.
