Fort Smith RCMP is investigating two incidents police say “appear to be related.”

About 12:15 a.m. on Monday, June 21, police say a suspect attempted to use bear spray on other people.

“A short while later, one of the individuals involved in the bear spray incident, called to report that someone had discharged a firearm into their home,” reads a news release.

Both incidents happened on St. Ann’s Street.

Police did not receive any reports of injuries, and are investigating.
