Fort McPherson RCMP arrest five people for impaired driving in 10 days

Between March 20 and March 30, Fort McPherson RCMP arrested and charged five people with various forms of impaired driving.

Three of the incidents involved snowmobiles and two incidents where in passenger vehicles.

Many of those arrested registered blood alcohol levels three to four times the legal limit.

Police are also investigating another incident of two snowmobiles colliding where they believe alcohol played a factor.

RCMP is asking the public to report any suspected incidents of impaired driving to their local detachments or to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
