The operators of the Tibbit to Contwoyto Winter Road are closing the road due to an anticipated winter storm.
A press release says a severe storm with heavy snowfall and high winds is expected from March 13-16.
The public is advised to stay off the road or leave it as soon as possible.
The release says the Joint Venture will be suspending all winter road traffic by late Saturday and sending all the crews back to their camps for safety.
