RCMP look for witnesses after door damaged at Hay River business

Mounties in Hay River are investigating after a door was damaged at a local store in an apparent attempted break and enter.

According to an RCMP news release, at about 12:20 am, on Thursday, September 19, officers responded to an attempted burglary at a business on Woodland Drive, in downtown Hay River.

Upon arrival, police say officers observed that the main front door had been extensively damaged.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Hay River RCMP is asking anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the early hours of Thursday September 19, in the area of 77 Woodland Drive, to contact them at 874-1111.
