Tłı̨chǫ Government approves 2019 Harvest Subsidy Payment

The Tłı̨chǫ Government has approved a 2019 Harvest Subsidy Payment of $250 to each enrolled Tłı̨chǫ citizen.

According to an advisory, Tłı̨chǫ citizens can now submit the 2019 Harvest Subsidy Payment Request Form.

The 2019 Harvest Subsidy Payment Request Form can be downloaded from www.tlicho.ca and hard copies are available at the Tłı̨chǫ head office in Behchokǫ̀ and Community Presence offices in Whatì, Gamètì, Wekweètì and the Yellowknife Office.

Harvest Subsidy Payment will be made automatically if you are 65 years and older, or have a disability living in the Tłı̨chǫ Region (Behchokǫ̀, Whatı̀, Gamètı̀, and Wekweètı̀).

All other Tłı̨chǫ Citizens are required to fill out the 2019 Harvest Subsidy Payment Form.

• Mailed: PO Box 412 Behchokǫ̀, NT X0E 0Y0
• Hand Delivered to any Tłı̨chǫ Government Office

The advisory also states that the Tłı̨chǫ Government Administrative Policy and Procedure Manual requires that any outstanding cheque which cannot be located and/or if the cheque is stale dated, the cheque will be removed from the outstanding cheque list on March 31st and funds will be reimbursed to the Tłı̨chǫ Government’s general account.
