Shortly after 9:15 this morning, Yellowknife RCMP responded to a call near Frame Lake where a deceased person had been found.
The Major Crimes unit, Yellowknife General Investigation Section, Forensic Identification Services, NWT Coroner Services and detachment members are on scene continuing to investigate.
RCMP said in a news release it will update with more information once available.
