The Yellowknife Community Foundation Celebrates 25 Years

The Yellowknife Community Foundation is releasing a documentary in honour of its 25th anniversary.

The twenty minute film is entitled ‘The City of Gold: – Celebrating 25 Years of the Yellowknife Community Foundation.

The documentary explores the history of Yellowknife along with the people and events that have helped to shape the city.

Filmmaker Alexander Legaree says the documentary took fourteen-months to make, and the Yellowknife community was incredibly supportive throughout the process.

The documentary is available online at the Yellowknife Community Foundation website.
