The Tlicho and Dettah winter roads are officially closed for the season.

Michael Conway is the Regional Superintendent for the Department of Transportation.

The Liard River Ice Crossing, Mackenzie Valley Highway and Trout lake winter roads are also closed.

Access roads to Tsiigehtchic, the Mackenzie River and Peel River are open to vehicles under sixty four thousand kilograms.

The Dempster highway is closed between Eagle Plains and Fort McPherson due to blowing snow and poor visibility. The rest of the highway is open but keep an eye out for construction spots.
