Nine mushers racing in Canadian Championship Dog Derby

Nine time winner, Richard Beck leads the pack after the second day of the Canadian Championship Dog Derby in Yellowknife, NWT. It’s a tight field of mushers with Deh Gah Mushing club’s Danny Beaulieu, and Beck Kennel’s Danny Beck also leading the pack.

Last year’s winner Jaden Beck is also having a good race, he dropped a dog today mid-way through the race at the Dettah Ice Road crossing.

Wynter McQueen, and Cai Reid are doing well as this year’s rookies.
