The name search for the two schools in Fort Simpson continues.

District Education Authority chair Kevin Allen says if more public input doesn’t come forward, the name changes might not happen until next fall. He says at least 10 names were submitted since February.

The committee is setting up a voting process to formally change the names of Bompass Elementary and Thomas Simpson High.

The next meeting to discuss the list of draft names and to decide a voting process will be on April 11th.
