Last weekend, Timber Kings aired its episode featuring the DehCho and its teepee.

Liidlii Kue First Nation Chief Gerry Antoine says it was a wonderful moment.

“It was awesome for our community because it is putting our community on the map. The elders at the home care were all tuned in. In our community, there was excitement, that was really the talk of the town. The reception that we got from the people that attended the fire feeding, the cookout and also the main event you know the showing of the Timber Kings. The reception was very positive.”

Chief Gerry Antoine expects now more visitors for his community.

Two weddings are already being planned around the teepee area.
