The national inquiry into missing and murdered indigenous women and girls has seen improvements, but is still failing according to the Native Women’s Association’s most recent report card.
The National Association released it’s third report card, giving the inquiry five failing grades in areas for no improvement, five that need further action and only three passing grades.
Two areas aren’t graded because the association says it doesn’t have enough information.
The Native’s Women Association says most of the failure is due to lack of communication and transparency.
This report covers from last May 2017 to March of this year.
