Lutsel K’e heading to the polls for chief election

Members of the Lutsel K’e Dene First Nation are heading to the polls today.

The three candidates running in the election for chief are Darryl Boucher-Marlowe, Irene Catholique, and current chief Felix Lockhart.

Polls open this morning at 9:00am and close this evening at 6:00pm.

LKDFN members can cast their ballots at the Lutsel K’e Band office, the Tree of Peace Friendship Centre in Yellowknife, and the Pelican Rapids Conference Room in Fort Smith.

Members who are not in the community, Yellowknife or Fort Smith can vote by email or fax. For those voting by email fax or proxy, contact the returning officer at 1(867) 370 3217.
