Jimmy Erasmus Elder’s Home is opening today

After eight years of planning and construction, Behchoko will officially open the doors to the Jimmy Erasmus Elder’s Home today.

Chief Clifford Daniels tells CKLB the Grand Opening ceremony is open to the public and gets underway at 2:00pm.

There is already a long waiting list for the 18 long term care rooms.

The 14.2 million dollar facility will serve the needs of the four Tlicho communities, and territory.
