Eleven students will graduate from the Dechinta Bush University Centre for Research and Learning on Thursday at 6PM at the Legislative Assembly.

The students are from the Akaitcho, Deh Cho, Gwich’in, Sahtu, Ross River Dena (Yukon) and Nunavut.

They are coming back from six weeks in the bush to celebrate their transition into community projects.

Dechinta is the only land-based post-secondary institution in Canada and is co-taught by Indigenous and Elder Professors.
