Colville Lake Gets New Youth Centre

Colville Lake will be getting a new recreation centre for the youth. The new building will replace the existing centre, which has presented too many issues for both the staff and youth.

According to Youth Councillor Ryan Kochon, the existing youth centre was very small. The space could barely accommodate the increasing amount of children and youth that would attend.

There was also a heating issue and the building would be too cold in the winter.

In a joint investment, the Federal and Territorial Government have allocated $250,000 towards the new youth centre.
