Campsite lottery draw set for April 8th

The 2018 North Slave extended stay campsite draw will take place Sunday, April 8th at the J-H Sissons school gym in Yellowknife.

Up for grabs are the highly-coveted summer campsite permits at Prelude Lake and Reid Lake territorial parks on the Ingraham Trail.

There are 90 permits available in total, 80 of them are for half-seasons at both parks as well as ten full-season permits for Reid Lake.

According to an advisory from the territorial government’s Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment for the sake of fairness the permits are issued in a lottery-type process.

Anyone interested in a campsite permit must register ahead of time for the draw which takes place at 1:30pm sharp.

Registration begins at noon inside the Sissons gymnasium.
