Algoma University will now offer a new First Nation undergrad certificate program.

The new certificate in First Nation social policy and community development is designed to lead into other programs available at the school.

The 10-course certificate is primarily aimed at First Nation social service administrators across the province of Ontario.

Algoma University already has some services in place for First Nations peoples, including a language course in the Anishinaabemowin language.

Algoma is located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
