N’Dilo Grandmother back in court

A N’Dilo grandmother facing drug charges is back in court.

The preliminary inquiry continues today for Vitaline Lafferty who is being charged with eight counts of trafficking and possession of narcotics.

Charges were initially laid on April 6th, 2016 as part of a lengthy investigation called project Green Manalishi.

The project is one of the largest seizures of illicit drugs, guns, cash, and merchandise in the territory.

Ten others are also facing charges related to Green Manalishi.
