MP Michael McLeod made a $10,595,046 announcement on Friday for Aurora College. He said the funds will provide the college with a modern facility for heavy equipment training and other machinery.

“These infrastructure investments will create good, well-paying jobs that can help the middle class grow and prosper today, while also delivering sustained economic growth for years to come,” said McLeod.

An additional two hundred thousand dollars was announced for a Rooftop Solar project for Inuvik’s Aurora Institute. The 25 kilowatt solar array is expected to provide up to 25 per cent of the building’s annual electric needs.
